“Kirsty practices East Asian medicine which includes acupuncture, herbal medicine, nutrition/lifestyle counseling, gua sha, moxibustion, and Qigong meditation. Her initial professional training in Speech Pathology with a specialty in voice, swallowing, and neurological disorders are blended into her current East Asian practice. In the fall of 2007, she completed her training at the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine (OCOM) in Portland, Oregon. During her early postgraduate work, she provided free medical care in southeastern India.
Kirsty believes in the integration of both eastern and western medicine, recognizing strengths from both that can be utilized to facilitate health and wellness from a holistic perspective. Her passion is collaborating with her patients and building a strong foundation that fosters sustainability and independence through increased awareness and education.
Kirsty grew up southwest of Portland, Oregon on a small farm and loves everything the Pacific Northwest has to offer. When she is not in the clinic, you will often find her in the outdoors trail running, hiking, backpacking, kayaking, or gardening. Her connection with the earth is integral in maintaining a healthy mind, body, and spirit.

Our workout is not HIIT. It is heart rate-based interval training, where our certified coach will guide you through our 5 different heart rate zones: resting, easy, challenging, uncomfortable, and All Out, telling you when to push harder and when to pull back for recovery. The goal is to spend 12 minutes or more with your heart rate elevated in “The Orange Zone” to boost your metabolism, burn fat and burn more calories.”
